With superb acting by Imran Abbas, Saleem Mairaj, Sarah Khan and direction by Zeeshan Ahmed, the cast and crew deserves a special mention for not breaking the tempo of the drama, even for a second. The one thing which we love about the play is how apt the sets are according to each character's family backgrounds. When blinded by jealousy, one doesn't think or act straight but what remains to be seen is how long will Amna tolerate this behaviour of her husband, who is getting sicker by the day, with no money in his pocket. Saleem discovers that Zaid bought his son brand new shoes he burns them much to the horror of the young boy.

With Geo TV airing one hit play after another, we came across the Imran Abbas, Sarah Khan and Areej Fatima starrer Yaar-e-Bewafa, which even 15 episodes down continues to remain enticing as ever. He even comes across Amna's son, after seeing him cry over torn shoes, he buys him a new pair, going against Amna's wishes. There comes a time when one just wants to sit down and enjoy a play with realistic dialogues and superb acting. Though a bit slow, the latest episode saw Zaid thinking of Amna a bit too much. After Fizza's leave, Zaid develops a soft corner for her but since Saleem makes her life difficult she leaves her job to work in a clothing factory to support the family.
